Summary

Watch: 香江花月夜 1995 Soap2Day, Full Movie Online – A very light-hearted comedy, the story got a little unwieldy though. But, anyway, the story-line is above-average compared to a lot other Hong Kong movies. The allegory works great and the overall ambience flows quite well with the two main characters(and the mentor of course who is a main catalyst to the whole film. Would have been very cliched if a movie like that were made in the West.
Movie Plot: Teddy Robin Kwan’s 1960s retro musical. A melodrama about two childhood best friends who rise to the top of the Hong Kong pop scene under the influence of their mentor, Johnny K (Teddy Robin Kwan), who once ruled the pop scene himself.
